About The CALA Foundation

Our Vision

At The Cala Foundation, our mission is to improve the lives of those in need by providing essential services and support to the rural schools and communities in Central and Latin America. We believe that everyone deserves access to basic necessities such as food, shelter, and education.

Our History

The CALA foundation was born after visiting a rural school while on vacation in El Salvador,  recognizing need and an instant love for the students and their families.  Since 2023, Darrell and Edie Keith continued to provide for the school, and as the mission and support for their work grew, the CALA Foundation was officially established as a 501c3 organization in early 2025. This year we were able to expand our reach from one school, to three schools with BIG needs thanks to the generous donations from people like you.  You can read more about each school and how your contributions make an impact by checking out CALA in Motion.

Our Future

Because of you, and the CALA Foundation, their future is brighter.

We will continue to expand our service projects in the schools and surrounding communities in 2026.
